When a disaster hits, our volunteers are ready to meet the needs of survivors as quickly and efficiently as possible. Our incredible volunteers are our lifeline – whether they are first responders helping survivors salvage belongings and clean up immediately after a disaster, or our weekly warehouse volunteers who help inventory, sort and compile buckets.
Because of the kindness of many, communities affected by natural disasters often take in more supplies than they are able to track or distribute quickly. As communities take in this surplus, the DRAW Mobile Logistics Program will help them store, inventory, and distribute any undirected donations, while working with local agencies to make sure supplies are tracked and victims’ needs are met.
